  1. Hi, thanks for such a colourful, helpful and informative site! I’d like to ask a question: Why is it that on this page, you only introduce Nikon? I wonder if there are any other good options besides Nikon? Thanks in advance for your views.

    • Thanks Rita
At present Nikon is chosen by most to be number #1 so I featured Nikon first and then I’ll add some of the other great options as the site starts to mature under there own pages.

  2. Hi Travis, I am new to cameras, in the sense, that I don’t know what all the parts are called and have basically bought cameras for snapshots.

I have always wanted to be better at taking proper pictures but gig cameras like the Nikon Digital SLR types, look pretty scary to me. I would not have a clue where to start with them and I always feel it would take me forever, to learn when and how to use the zoom lens etc

My camera choice of tends to be the Compacts as they are smaller and the least complicating.

I feel I could learn a lot from your site so I will return often.

    Lis.

    • Hi Lis and thank you for the comment. If you hover over with your mouse on “camera and equipment” on my top menu bar, you can click on the “Nikon” tap and in there you can get some great info to get you started. I am also around if you have questions that I may help you out with.
