Say It With Photographs

First let me start with the fact that photographs as in the past and especially now, have greater importance than ever before. From the past till present day, many of you already know that photos have a lot of use throughout time in books, advertisements, and the list goes on. Even the fact that you can use multiple images in sequence (frames per second) to create a video.

Every picture of a landscape, a portrait is a captured image just like the text in any book or web page is also classified as an image. By saying this, we find ourselves with a much greater advantage today with the use of the Internet’s ability to reach millions of people on any given day.

So what I have done here is create a website showing from the starting point to finish what you can do with photographs that my family and I have been doing for years.

We take some of our favourite pictures and turn them into highly personalized gifts that most stores are unable to compete against for emotional value. Family photos on a canvas print or my grandkids on a mug hold more sentimental value than a sweater bought from a store.

And it’s not only gifts either. In my renovation business, I use portfolio books I’ve created to display my work. For clients that see my portfolio, it’s more than just a pile of pictures. It’s a representation showing the quality of work, different design options, visual appearance on professional jobs.

I just recently created a travel book of our latest trip which my wife likes to share with friends and family. The point is, there is a lot you can do with photographs that not everybody has given much thought about when going about their busy lives.

How many times have you heard people say “I don’t know what to buy them.” Well, now I can show you gifts that you can have created either by you or someone else that will have more meaning than just about anything else the average store may sell.

There are five other headings in the drop down menu. Each one has a vital part to play in the final creation of your photographs. Out of these five sections, you could get involved with all five or any combination you choose.

Take some time and check them out and by all means come back anytime. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

    • Thanks Mark my big thing was having the photos sitting in a box until one day my first born son gave me his picture on a paper ornament one Christmas from pre-school when he was 4.

  4. Some very good information gained here on your site on a good camera, and I appreciate your feed you give in making an investment on what a person should consider in their purchase. I plan on a purchase in the near future and have bookmarked your site for when I get ready to make that decision. Thanks and Cheers, Chris

  5. This is a great site, leaving me with a desire to come back and find out more. I’d like to see more info on the printing processes, where you go to get your prepared images printed, and what the cost of printing is. Also are any of the T-shirt examples you have here available for purchase? The swimming cat chasing the mouse would be perfect for my brother, a fisherman with a wry sense of humor.

    • Hi Mary Jo thanks for the visit, I will be updating some more in depth information on the printing process and the 3d t shirts are located in my online store labeled on the right column or you could click the swimming cat. Pricing for t shirts and custom gifts are all shown once you go to those pages.

  6. Great post. I love photography so this site is right up my alley:)

Hi Travis – what an informative and diverse site you have developed.

I like it how this has been a hobby that you are passionate about and you’ve turned it into a business. I’ve always thought a framed photograph is one of the best presents you can buy someone. In this day and age everything is digital and we don’t get to enjoy photos as much as we should!

Congrats again on your site, and I’ll definitely be back to see it progress in the future 🙂

Very Clean look and easy to read, navigate and follow. The Different picture usage and the ideas of gifts simply brilliant. Really makes me want to capture those precious moments and wear them around, or have a cup of coffee with a loved one. Great experience here I’ve got some good ideas. bravo!!.

    • Hi Nui glad you enjoyed your tour around the site. The concept came about when so many people requested to know what all they could do with there photographs. They wanted to know how to take better pictures and how to edit them better with the different software on the market. The post production also came in when they wanted to display there work in many different ways which is where the gifts and other sections came in.
